Country Roads

We had a nice show this morning! We had AP testing earlier this week, so this was our only show this week. It was nice to see our friends again. We sang lots of favorites, includes John Denver's Take Me Home, Country Roads. This song is such a great one as we head into the weekend. After a long and wet winter, the weather has finally been beautiful lately for our audiences. We know from stories our grandparents tell us that the older generations used to often take long drives on weeknights and weekends, especially to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are lots of pretty country roads where our audience is located, so we hope this song brings back memories of those lovely drives! Here is a clip of us singing the song this morning:
