The MK Band Project

Today's show was the last one with our current setlist. For the next show, we'll be working on a new one. We like changing up the music to match the vibe of the season.

We sang a fun song today by The Turtles, called Happy Together. It's a catchy song that became popular back in 1967 and it's still a great song to sing today.

We started these shows back in the summer of 2020...almost 5 years ago. Since starting, we have learned over 100 songs. We've tried to build a repertoire of songs from the 50's through the 70's.

We saw our Day Program friends this morning for another show. We've been enjoying singing from this newest setlist.

It's summer vacation for us, and we kicked it off with a new setlist for our Day Program friends! We learned a new song and brought back some old favorites.

Just when we think the weekend is finally here, it's Monday again! Today was a gloomy morning with clouds and a little drizzle outside. The staff at the Day Program mentioned they had the same gray day over there today too.

We loved seeing the smiles and clapping along today as we sang for our Day Program friends!

We were happy to be back singing for our Day Program friends. As you know, we really enjoy singing songs by The Beatles. This week's setlist includes a song by a member of The Beatles that had a pretty successful solo career after leaving the band.

We're back to our regular shows after the Easter break. We worked on a new setlist for this week, and learned a new song as well!

Our Monday started off in the best way possible way...seeing our Day Program friends enjoying our morning show!
