There are so many song choices, and we are learning about the different genres of music - especially from the 50's and 60's. We have done some light rock, some acapella-style, and some disco too. Today's show included a fun song called "Jambalaya on the Bayou". It was originally written and performed by Hank Williams in 1952. Since then it has been covered by many different artists. It's a catchy, Cajun-inspired song with a fun beat and unique lyrics. It took us a bit to learn the words, but now that we have, it's a fun song to sing! Here's a clip of us singing it this morning:
