It was a lovely day to sing Bill Withers' song "Lovely Day"! We enjoyed learning this song and performing it for our Day Program friends this morning. The song was released in 1977 and was high up on the Billboard charts. Did you know that Bill Withers held a note towards the end of this song for 18 seconds? To this day, that is one of the longest notes held in a song. We need to practice a bit more to achieve that! In the meantime, enjoy this little clip of us singing the song this morning:
