We spent our Thanksgiving week in Canada, visiting our grandparents, and we got the opportunity to perform for the assisted living facility where our grandfather lives! What a special treat that was! We hadn't traveled with our guitars, so our mom found us a place in town where we could rent a guitar for the show. We had fun performing a few classics and favorites for a very eager audience!
We sang a few songs from The Sound Of Music, and loved hearing the audience sing along with us!
Some of the residents had family members visiting, so we ended up with a pretty big crowd all enjoying the show together in the festive, decorated common area. We ended the show the always upbeat Be My Baby!
We hope someday to do this again, as we had a such a good time. It felt good to bring some smiles and entertainment to this wonderful group!
