We sing for seniors because it brings us joy. It makes us happy to see seniors with Alzheimers and Dementia being moved by music. It's amazing to us to see how a song from their past brings out such feeling. We see toes tapping, hands clapping, and even dancing! We don't know what type of connection the seniors feel to certain songs, but it's exciting to watch. We hear from the staff at the Day Programs about how much the attendees love the music shows we do, and how grateful they are for the great start to their day. They're not the only ones who are grateful though. We're grateful for the opportunity to do this for them. Grateful that our schedule and the time difference between here and Canada allows us to to do these shows. So much to be grateful for!
