Music and Memory Care

We started this beautiful fall morning off with a show for our Day Program friends. We love seeing these sweet faces for each of our shows. It gives us a lot of pride to know that in some small way, we are offering some support to these memory care folks. Music has an enormous benefit for people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. Listening to or singing songs can provide emotional and behavioral benefits because musical memories are often preserved in the brain. This is why we choose songs that are meaningful to a certain generation in the hopes that it will provide both entertainment, as well as emotional support!
