We had a wonderful show this morning! It has been extremely cold in the cities where our Day Program attendees are, but we were happy to see such a great turnout today at both locations. Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day here, and our schools are closed for the day. Many may not know that MLK Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service. It's meant to encourage people to volunteer in service of others. We feel proud that we got to spend our morning singing for seniors who are living with memory care issues. We know that for these folks, music is very important and very therapeutic. We loved seeing all of the clapping hands, dancing and tapping feet! We hope we brought some enjoyment to their day, and we look forward to seeing them soon!
