Kokomo
This morning we had another chance to perform our latest addition to the set list, Kokomo by The Beach Boys. It was recorded in 1988 and was featured in the movie Cocktail. It's a song about a made up place that reminds us of a dreamy beach resort. A place where you can forget all your troubles while listening to the steel drum band and the waves. Listening to the song really puts you in the island spirit, which is why we had fun learning it for our audience. As with other songs by The Beach Boys, this one is full of harmony and great guitar. It's a perfect type of song for us! We hope you enjoy this little video clip of us singing it this morning:
