We sang for our Day Program audiences this morning, and one of the songs we sang was Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree. This song was made popular in 1942 during World War II. It was a nostalgic song and became sort of an anthem for for couples separated during the war. It was one of the first songs we learned when we started doing these shows for our Day Program audiences, and it's one we have not sung in a long time. It felt good to bring it back and sing it!
