This morning's show was a chance for us to sing a new song for our audience. We sang "Top Of The World" by The Carpenters. It was a really popular song after its release in 1972. We knew our audience would love it, and so we took the opportunity to learn it and perform it. We learned that it was a chart topper for years, but we remembered hearing it in one of the Shrek movies not too long ago! It's great how so many older songs get recirculated in current times so that they are never really forgotten. It makes for a great connection between generations!
