We mentioned in an earlier post that we need to think about transitioning to fall and winter songs soon. While we're still clinging on to summer days, we did sing a song in today's show that reminds us of cooler days. Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver is a great song, and although there are really no lyrics in the song that reference the fall season, somehow it gives off a feeling of autumn! We picture driving down beautiful country roads lined with big trees that are all changing color. It's true that songs evoke lots of feelings and memories. Does this song remind you of the fall season too?
