Yesterday

This Wednesday morning, we performed for the Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo Day Programs. We played a new song called ‘Yesterday’ by The Beatles, and many songs from The Sound of Music. While learning ‘Yesterday’, we learned that it is the most covered pop song of all time, with over 3,000 versions recorded, according to The Guinness Book Of World Records. Another fun fact we discovered was that the working title of the song was “Scrambled Eggs’ until Paul McCartney, one of the members of the Beatles, could figure out the lyrics. Here's a small clip of us playing the song...

We had so much fun playing this new song today and our friends from the Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo Day Programs did too! This is the set list from today’s show:

  1. Yesterday.

  2. It’s a Small World

  3. You Are My Sunshine

  4. My Favorite Things

  5. Somewhere Over the Rainbow

  6. Do Re Mi

  7. Stand By Me

  8. Everyday

  9. Morning Has Broken

  10. Edelweiss

  11. Be My Baby
