We loved performing for the Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo Day Programs this Wednesday morning! We performed a new song called ‘Build Me Up, Buttercup’ by The Foundations. While learning this new song, we learned that The Foundations were a British R&B band in the 60s who were known as ‘two-hit wonders.’ They were also the first multi-racial group to have a #1 hit in the U.K. in the 1960s, consisting of British members, West Indians, and a Sri Lankan. ‘Build Me Up, Buttercup’ was released in 1968 in the U.K. and rose to #2 on their pop charts. The song made it to #3 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. This is the set list from today’s show:
Sweet Caroline

Que Sera Sera
How Much Is That Doggie In The Window
Somewhere Over The Rainbow
